Do my clients pay for Evobody?

No. Evobody is never billed to a coach's clients: they pay their coach directly, however the coach already collects, and Evo SI is billed to the coach too, so a client never sees a bill or a price from Evobody.

Who this is for

Most coaches already collect payment by bank transfer, cash or their own invoicing, and that stays completely normal. Evobody tracks client payments for you: give each client a payment package, then mark each payment paid, late or failed. A coach can also connect their own Stripe account; charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet.

Your client never sees a bill from us

The client's only financial relationship is with their coach. There is no client subscription, no upsell inside the client app, and nothing a client can buy from Evobody. That includes the AI: Evo SI is billed to the coach, at $3 a month for each client who has it switched on, never to the client. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing.

No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: every coaching feature is on every plan, everything we build next comes in too, and you never pay for our progress.

That is the same way every comparable product works. Across nine coaching platforms checked, none charge the end client for AI, and none give the coach a cut of AI revenue. It is also what app store rules require of a fitness coaching app, since anything sold to a client inside an app is the store's to tax, whereas nothing is being sold inside this one.

What a client sees in the app

The app a client opens is their coach's: their plan, their food, their check-in, their community. There is no subscription to start, no paid upgrade and nothing for sale anywhere in it. When a client has used their ten free Evo SI questions, whether it carries on is their coach's decision and their coach's bill; the client is never asked to pay.

If you connect your own Stripe account

It is your own Stripe account, not an Evobody balance, and Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you. Charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet, so Evobody tracks each payment you mark rather than taking it.

Two platforms in this category charge on client payments, and neither puts it on its pricing page. TrueCoach's own help centre gives its card processing fee as "a flat 5% fee per transaction", and CoachRx's documents 2% of its own on top of card processing. See does Evobody take a commission.

How a coach tracks what clients pay

Each client gets a payment package, and every payment is marked paid, late or failed, so the roster shows who is up to date without a separate spreadsheet. A coach who uses Stripe can connect their own account. The money goes from the client to the coach the way it always has; Evobody keeps the record, not the money.

Questions about client billing

Do my clients pay for Evobody?

No. Evobody is never billed to a coach's clients. The coach pays for the software, and the client's only relationship is with their coach. A coach can track client payments: connect their own Stripe account, set each client's package and mark every payment paid, late or failed. Charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet, and Evobody takes no cut of what clients pay.

Does the client pay for Evo SI?

No. Evo SI is billed to the coach at $3 a month for each client who has it switched on, never to the client. That matches every comparable platform: across nine coaching products checked, none charge the end client for AI.

Do I have to take client payments through the app?

No. Charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet. Clients pay you the way they already do, by bank transfer, cash or your own invoicing, and you mark each payment paid, late or failed, so the record stays accurate.

Does Evobody take a cut of what my clients pay me?

No. Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you, and never holds a coach's money. TrueCoach's card processing fee is a flat 5% per transaction and CoachRx adds 2% of its own on top of card processing, neither of which appears on those companies' pricing pages.

So what do I pay?

$69 a month for unlimited clients on the Coach plan, or $99 on Studio, which opens later, with your own branding, and free for your first five. Evo SI is optional, $3 a month for each client it is on for. Full pricing breakdown.

What happens to my clients if my card fails?

Nothing they would notice: there is a 21 day grace period from the first failure, clients keep logging throughout, and a client never loses their own history because of their coach's billing. What happens if I cancel.

Who owns the client relationship?

You do. A coach's clients belong to that coach, no other coach can see or reach them, and Evobody never sells to them or bills them. Who owns my client data.
