The six, ranked
Evobody
The only platform in this category built around the app your client opens rather than the dashboard you sit at. The coach sets each client's recommended schedule and the client never touches it. They open the app and the week's workouts are one tap away. There is no calendar to learn and nothing to message you about, which is the single thing that sends most coaches off Everfit in the first place.

Five ranks, each with its own badge.
Evo SI sits in every client's pocket. (SI stands for Super Intelligence, previously known as Artificial Intelligence.) They photograph the menu at the restaurant they are sitting in and ask what they can eat, photograph the fridge and find out what they can make, ask how training went this month and hear which lifts went up, or log a meal by describing it and then correct it by saying "that was a bun, not a roll." It proposes, the client confirms, and it never overrules you. It works for you too, trained on your philosophy and methods, set up in the app. Everfit's AI builds workouts for the coach, and their own help centre has you typing EMOM, AMRAP and numbered supersets in the right places to get what you asked for.
A community on every plan. Your clients get a community of their own, where no other coach can see your client list, reach your clients or learn how you work, and every client post starts from an achievement. Everfit's forums start at its Pro tier.
Clients climb five ranks, Start through to Whole, earned week by week against their own plan, collect milestones for streaks from a week to a year and sessions from ten to five hundred, and land on the weekly Pace Setters board when they show up. A leaderboard has one winner and everybody else. Ranks work the other way round: every client is climbing their own ladder, and what moves them up it is turning up.
Check-ins are a real thing, and so is the recorder. Each client's weeks are listed on their page, answered or skipped, and you are told when a check-in comes in or is skipped, with the client's reason. You reply by writing, or by recording a video over the client's own dashboard with your camera in the corner. That recorder is built in, so the Loom or ScreenPal subscription most coaches pay for is one more thing you stop paying for.
- Best for
- Any coach who wants the client side to carry the relationship, and the bill to stop moving.
- Price
- Free for 5 clients, no time limit. $69 a month for unlimited, $99 on Studio, which opens later, with your own branding. Evo SI is optional, $3 a month for each client using it, and switched off for a client it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. On Studio, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key. No cut of client payments.
- The catch
- It is the newest platform here, so there is no decade of third party integrations behind it. Coaches ask, it gets built, it ships to everybody, and the price does not move.

PT Distinction
If the add-ons are what is driving you off Everfit, this is the one that will not do the same thing to you. There is no transaction fee, no annual lock-in and no minimum term, and coaches rate it 4.9 on Capterra across 446 reviews with no one star reviews at all, which almost nothing in software manages. They also ship: missed session detection landed in 2026, and their own page puts the thinking well, "Follow up before they go quiet, not after."
The weak half is the app your clients hold, which sits at 4.18 on the App Store against 4.9 for the coach software.
"At least a handful if not half a dozen times throughout my work out, the loading wheel appears for well over a minute... if you leave the app to go to a different one and then return, it will often refresh back to the homepage, which causes you to lose your place while logging the workout."
- Best for
- A coach leaving Everfit over the add-ons who wants one bill and no surprises.
- Price
- $89.90 a month for 50 clients, then $1.60 each. No free plan, a one month trial.
- The catch
- Group chat a coach can turn on for a group, but no community feed, no ranks, no AI in the client's app, and the client app is where the reviews turn.

My PT Hub
The thing Everfit charges $39 a month for, My PT Hub includes. Nutrition and habit tracking are on every plan rather than gated behind a tier, and their Workouts AI is genuinely good and takes plain language rather than keywords. For a coach who left Everfit specifically over the meal plan add-on, that is the closest match in this list.
Two things to know before you sign. The first is what happens on a bad week, from their own help centre: "If a client misses a Check-In... they will not be able to complete it, they will need to wait for the next Check-In to open." The week your client was ill is a week you have no data for. The second is in the contract. Annual billing "paid monthly" reads like a discount and is a twelve month commitment needing thirty days written notice before the end of the term.
- Best for
- Coaches whose Everfit bill was mostly the meal plan and habit add-ons.
- Price
- $59 a month on Premium, month to month, or $52 a month on the twelve month plan, and Check-Ins AI is $12 a month more, per My PT Hub's pricing page, 8 October 2026. Starter at $25 holds three clients.
- The catch
- No ranks or badges of any kind.

ABC Trainerize
The largest platform in the category, and their client app is rated 4.9 by nearly seventy thousand people, which is not nothing. If you are leaving Everfit because it felt small, this is the opposite of small.
It is also the same shape of problem. Advanced Nutrition Coaching is $45 a month, the Business add-on is $25, with taking payments and video coaching $10 a month more each, and those sit on a Pro 50 plan at $135. Their pricing steps hard too: your thirty first client takes you from $79 to $135, which is $56 a month for one person. Their own status page records eleven incidents affecting the Trainerize apps since October 2025, nine of them major or critical, and they announced a reliability task force in their June 2026 update.
- Best for
- Coaches who want the biggest ecosystem and the widest gym and wearable integrations.
- Price
- $205 a month at 50 clients with nutrition and the Business add-on. FitMetrics, the AI that drafts check-ins, is priced on its own, from $6 a client a month.
- The catch
- You are swapping one add-on ladder for a steeper one, and nothing in it flags a missed check-in.

CoachRx
Built out of OPEX Fitness, and it shows in the assessment depth and the wearable support, which is better than most of this category. Coaches who use it rate it 5.0 on Capterra.
Then there is the 2%. CoachRx adds two percent of its own on top of normal card processing on every payment a client makes you, which their help centre documents as a total of 4.9% plus 30 cents per transaction. None of it appears on their pricing page. At fifty clients paying $200 each that is about $200 a month, two and a half times their own subscription. If Everfit's add-ons bothered you, a percentage of your revenue will bother you more, because it grows when you do.
- Best for
- Assessment led coaching with heavy wearable use.
- Price
- $79 a month for 6 to 50 clients, plus 2% of everything collected, so about $279 at fifty clients.
- The catch
- Their own help centre: "Can clients communicate with each other? No, client communication is only with coaches." Client app ratings are 3.65 and 3.43.

TrueCoach
Genuinely well liked, 4.8 on Capterra across 838 reviews with not one single star among them, and it does the basics cleanly. If all you want is programs out and video feedback back, it works.
What it costs is the problem. TrueCoach's card processing fee is a flat 5% fee per transaction, from their own help centre, while their pricing page answers "Are there any extra fees?" with "Nope, what you see is what you get." That comes on top of a $165 plan at fifty clients. There is also no check-in feature: their help centre's advice is to build one out of the workout builder.
- Best for
- A small roster that pays you outside the platform.
- Price
- $165 a month for 50 clients, plus a flat 5% card processing fee on every client payment taken through it.
- The catch
- No AI anywhere in the product, no community, no real check-in object, and no recording inside the app.

Every Everfit alternative, priced at fifty clients
| Platform | AI in the client's app | Client community | Cut of client payments | Real monthly cost |

| PT Distinction | No, coach side | Group chat, if the coach turns it on | None | $89.90 |
| Everfit | No, coach side | Closed forums, Pro tier up | None | From $199 |
| ABC Trainerize | No, coach side | Groups, feed is trainer only | None | $205, plus their AI, FitMetrics, from $6 a client a month |

What a coach with fifty clients, each paying $200 a month, actually pays. Month to month, from each platform's own pricing page, 23 September 2026; Trainerize, FitMetrics, Everfit, My PT Hub and PT Distinction, 8 October 2026.
Evo SI is the one thing not inside the plan price, and it is optional. On Coach it is $3 a month for each client who has it switched on, and switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. On Studio, which opens later, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key. Worth knowing what the going rate is: the nearest thing anyone else sells is Trainerize's FitMetrics, in its own words on 8 October 2026: "The Starter plan is $6/client with a 1-client minimum and the Scale plan is $10/client with a 50-client minimum." Everfit's AI builds workouts for you, so there is no version of this on their bill at any price.
Two of those platforms also charge on every payment your clients make you through them: CoachRx adds 2% of its own on top of card processing, and TrueCoach's card processing fee is a flat 5% per transaction. So their real cost is set by how well your business is doing rather than by how many seats you use. Trainerize's own subscription is $205, and the AI that drafts check-in replies and reads macros off a meal photo is FitMetrics, an add-on inside Trainerize from $6 a client a month.
No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: every coaching feature is on every plan, everything we build next comes in too, and you never pay for our progress.
Who answers your clients' questions about the app
Your clients will have questions about the app. On Evobody they ask from inside it, any hour, and we answer, so you are not the help desk for software you did not build, and anything about their training or food still comes to you. TrueCoach and CoachRx help clients directly too. Of the seven platforms here, Evobody is the only one that publishes 24/7 support for your clients. How client support works.
| Platform | 24/7 support for your clients |
|---|---|
| Evobody | Yes, from inside the app, on every plan |
| CoachRx | No. They do help clients directly, in "normal business hours", and aim to reply within 24 to 48 hours. |
| PT Distinction | No hours published. Their plans promise "Same day support". |
| TrueCoach | No hours published. They do help clients directly, by email. |
| Everfit | No hours published for clients. Their help centre gives none. Their "24/7 Support Team" is on the Enterprise plan only. |
| My PT Hub | No hours published. Their pricing page gives none. |
| ABC Trainerize | No. Their help section for clients, "Clients of Trainers", sends them back to you. |
From each company's own help centre and pricing pages, checked 23 September 2026.
Why coaches leave Everfit
Everfit is a capable product and this is not a page about a bad one. The reasons people go looking are consistent, and they are in Everfit's own public reviews.
- The plan is priced per client, so the bill climbs every single time the business does.
- The things you need most are sold separately. Automation is an add-on from $29 a month, client payments from $9, meal plans and recipe books from $39.
- Motivation is gated. Habit coaching, forums and challenges start at the Pro tier rather than being there for everybody.
"What annoys me the most is the numerous add-ons that you have to pay for, which significantly increase the overall cost."
"I do wish I didnt have to pay more money for every 10+ clients though, feels like 20+ would be more suited."
Andrew B., Sport and Exercise Science, Capterra, 14 July 2026
There is a fourth reason, and it is the one that started Evobody.
"My clients could never work out how to move a session. If somebody missed a workout, I got a message asking me how to fix it. If somebody wanted to do tomorrow's session today, another message. Every week, from people who had been using it for months. They were not being lazy about it. The app made a simple thing hard, and every time it did, the answer was me."
Petar Krastev, who coached on Everfit before building Evobody
How we compared these
Most lists of Everfit alternatives are affiliate pages, and you can tell because none of the claims on them have a link behind them. Here is the method for this one.
- Every price comes from the company's own pricing page, month to month, read on 23 September 2026, and Trainerize's, FitMetrics', Everfit's and My PT Hub's again on 8 October 2026. Annual figures are never mixed with monthly ones, because that is how a comparison ends up wrong by fifty dollars.
- Every capability claim comes from the company's own help centre or documentation, not from a feature grid. Where their wording is the clearest statement of the thing, it is quoted and linked so you can read it yourself.
- Every review quote links to the review site it is on, with the reviewer's name and the date.
- The fifty client figure assumes each client pays you $200 a month, which is what makes a percentage fee comparable to a subscription. Change that number and CoachRx's figure moves, because its 2% is a share of your revenue.
- Where a competitor is better, it says so. PT Distinction's pricing is fairer than most. Trainerize's integrations are the widest. CoachRx's wearable support is strong. A list that finds nothing good in five platforms is not a list, it is an advert.
Evobody is our own product and this page argues for it. Everything above is checkable, which is the only reason to trust any of it.
Moving off Everfit
You get dedicated support for the move. Your client list comes across in one go, and Evobody's team helps you bring over your programs, plans and documents rather than rebuild them over a fortnight of evenings. Export from Everfit and we help you from there. The full detail is in the switching guide.
Questions coaches ask before switching
Is there a free alternative to Everfit?
Evobody is free for up to five active clients, no time limit and no card, which is the same shape as Everfit's own free plan. Of everything else here only Trainerize has a free tier and it holds one client. TrueCoach, CoachRx, My PT Hub and PT Distinction run trials of fourteen to thirty days instead.
Will my clients have to learn a new app?
Less than they had to learn the last one. The coach sets the recommended schedule and the client never touches it, so the thing they most often ask you about on Everfit does not exist here.
Does Evobody take a percentage of what my clients pay me?
No. Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you. TrueCoach's card processing fee is a flat 5% per transaction, and CoachRx adds 2% of its own on top of card processing.
What is the best Everfit alternative in 2026?
Evobody. It is $69 a month flat for unlimited clients, where the same 50 clients on Everfit's Pro plan with Autoflow, Payments and Meal Plans start at $199 a month. It is also the only platform in this category with an AI assistant inside the client's own app rather than a workout builder for the coach, a private client community on every plan, where every client post starts from an achievement, five ranks earned week by week, and progress photos with a count-in.
Why do coaches leave Everfit?
Two reasons dominate their own public reviews. The plan is priced per client, so the bill climbs every time the roster does, and the features most coaches need are sold separately: automation from $29 a month, client payments from $9, meal plans and recipe books from $39. Habit coaching, forums and challenges start at the Pro tier rather than being on every plan.
What does Everfit really cost for 50 clients?
Month to month, Everfit's Pro plan for 50 clients is $95. Autoflow for automation adds $56 once all 50 clients use it, Payments and Packages from $9, and Meal Plans and Recipe Books from $39, so $95, $56, $9 and $39 make from $199 a month, per Everfit's pricing page, 8 October 2026. Everfit prices per client, so past 50 the plan figure keeps climbing. Evobody is $69 a month flat for unlimited clients with automation and meal plans included.
Which Everfit alternative has a community for clients?
Evobody is the only one where every client sees a real feed, on every plan: a community of the coach's own clients where every client post starts from an achievement. Everfit has closed forums from the Pro tier up. Trainerize has Groups, but its own help centre says clients see only two of the four tabs and the activity timeline is trainer only. CoachRx and TrueCoach give clients no way to talk to each other. PT Distinction lets a coach turn on a group chat for a group, and My PT Hub's Premium plan has a feed where clients comment, reply and react.
Comparing something else?
Evobody is the future of online fitness coaching software. Everything it does is on features, and the full head to head is on Evobody vs Everfit. Every Everfit plan and add-on, at 5, 20 and 50 clients, is on Everfit pricing 2026.
