Getting started
Do I need a card to start?
No. A coach signs up with an email and a name, and the Free plan asks for no card. In the coach terms, the Free plan is: "Up to five active clients. All core coaching features. Every client gets ten free Evo SI questions. Switching Evo SI on for clients, branding and assistant places are on paid plans. No card needed."
What is actually free?
Every core coaching feature, for five active clients, with no time limit. A coach can add and set up a whole roster on the Free plan, and five of those clients use the app at a time. The rest sit ready, fully built, until they are switched on, and the five can be changed at any time.
What do my clients get?
An app on their phone with today's session, their food, their habits, their weekly check in and their messages with you. A client's invitation tells them their training app is ready: they open app.evobody.app, type their email, enter the six digit code that arrives, and add the app to their home screen, on iPhone or Android.
Can I bring my clients over from Trainerize, TrueCoach or Everfit?
Yes, from any of those or from a spreadsheet. Paste the list of names and emails exported from the old platform: Evobody spots duplicates, you confirm, and everyone is added at once, ready for you to invite when you choose. Programs, plans and documents are not imported by themselves; Evobody's team helps bring them over, and whatever can be automated will be.
Plans and billing
What happens at client six?
You move to a paid plan to switch more clients on. Coach is $69 a month for unlimited clients. Studio, which opens later, is $99 a month and adds your own branding and three assistant coach seats. Everyone already set up stays set up, so nothing built is lost.
Do my clients pay Evobody anything?
Never. Your clients pay you, not Evobody, and Evobody never bills a client. Evo SI is paid for by the coach, and only for the clients the coach switches it on for.
Can my clients pay me through the app?
Not yet: charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet. Today you track client payments in it: connect your own Stripe account, set payment packages and mark who has paid, while clients pay you by bank transfer, cash or your own invoicing. Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you.
What if my card fails?
Nothing stops straight away. Settings, Billing shows that the payment failed, and the coach terms give you three weeks: "You have 21 days from the first failed payment to fix it. Everything keeps working in that time." After that, "you cannot switch on any more clients until the payment goes through. Clients already active keep their access."
What if I cancel?
You can cancel any time in Settings, Billing, and the coach terms say what follows: "Your paid plan stays until the end of the month you have paid for. We do not charge you again." Your account then moves to the Free plan, where "The five clients who used the app most recently stay active. Everyone else is paused. You can change which five at any time." Nothing is deleted, and subscribing again brings paused clients back.
Can I get a refund?
Once, at the start. From the coach terms: "If you ask within 14 days of your first ever payment for a paid plan, we will refund that payment in full, including any Evo SI charges in it." Apart from that there are no refunds for a change of mind or an unused part of a month, which does not affect any right to a refund the law gives you.
Can the price change on me?
Not without warning. The coach terms: "We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change. The new price starts at your first renewal after the 30 days end." If you do not want the new price, you can cancel before then and you will not be charged it.
No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: every coaching feature is on every plan, everything we build next comes in too, and you never pay for our progress.
Evo SI
What is Evo SI?
An AI assistant in your clients' app. The coach terms put it plainly: "It is software, not a coach." It knows a client's program, their targets and what they have logged, answers their questions between sessions, and never changes the plan you wrote. It works for the coach too, trained on the coach's philosophy and methods, set up in the app. A question about pain, injury or medication gets no medical advice; Evo SI flags it for you to look at.
How much does Evo SI cost?
Every client gets ten free questions. After that it is $3 a month for each client you switch it on for, charged only for those clients, on Coach, or on Studio once it opens. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. The coach terms set a fair use line: "each client you pay $3 for can ask up to 150 questions a day and 500 a month." If a client reaches it, Evo SI rests for them until the next day or month, and the rest of the app keeps working.
Can I use my own AI API key?
On Studio, which opens later. Evo SI is free with your own AI API key. On the Coach plan, Evo SI is the $3 a month for each client it is switched on for. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing.
What does Evo SI do with my clients' data?
It reads only the data of the client using it, only when they use it, and only after they agree. It goes to Anthropic, which makes the Claude AI, and the privacy policy says: "Anthropic uses this only to produce Evo SI's reply. It does not train its AI on it, and it normally deletes it within 30 days."
Your clients' app and their watches
What about my clients' watches?
Oura, WHOOP, Polar, Withings, and Apple Watch through Apple Health connect today. Apple Health connects in the Evobody iPhone app, which is in beta, and the others from any phone or browser. Each brings what that device measures, such as sleep, recovery, workouts, weight or steps, onto your screen. Garmin, Fitbit and Health Connect are not connected yet.
Can I put my own logo and colour on it?
Yes, on Studio, which opens later: custom branding in the app your clients use. A coach on Studio puts their own logo in place of Evobody's and picks one brand colour for the client app.
Is Evobody a white label app?
Partly, on Studio, which opens later. Your logo and one brand colour replace Evobody's inside the client app, while the app keeps the Evobody name and icon on your client's phone, and there is no separate listing under your name.
Can other coaches see my programs?
No. Every coach starts with Evobody's own library of exercises, workouts and meal plans, and what a coach changes is theirs. In the coach terms' words: "When you edit an item, only you, your assistants and your clients see your version, and your changes are yours, but the original material stays ours."
Data and security
Where is the data kept?
The app and its database run in Germany, in the EU. Photos, videos and documents are stored with Cloudflare, encrypted at rest. Data is encrypted in transit, and a coach can only ever reach their own clients. Full detail on security.
Who owns my clients?
You do. Your clients are yours, not Evobody's, and the coach terms say Evobody will "use your clients' data only to run and secure Evobody for you and them", and that "We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models."
How do I delete my account?
Ask in the app, in Settings, under Account, or by email to [email protected], and every request is answered within 30 days. Cancelling a plan on its own deletes nothing, so a coach who only wants to stop paying keeps everything they built.
Getting help
How do I reach support?
By email at [email protected], and a real person answers. The coach terms: "We support coaches by email at [email protected] and aim to reply within 2 working days."
Where are the full terms?
The coach terms are at app.evobody.app/terms/coach and the privacy policy at app.evobody.app/privacy. Each page here that quotes them uses their own words, and the security page walks through what they say about data.
