Everything a coach needs, in one place.

Evobody is coaching software for personal trainers and online fitness coaches. The coach runs every client from one desk, on a computer or a phone, and each client gets an app with today's session, their food, their habits, their check-in and Evo SI. It is free for your first five clients, then $69 a month for as many clients as you have.

Evo SI is the assistant coach inside Evobody, for you and your clients. SI stands for Super Intelligence, previously known as Artificial Intelligence.

What Evobody does, in short

For the coach

One roster for every client, a workout builder with a weekly schedule that repeats, nutrition targets and meal plans, weekly check-ins with video replies, chat, a welcome that runs on its own, and client payment tracking.

For the client

Today's session logged set by set, GPS run tracking, food logging from about 2.6 million foods or a photo, habits, goals, progress photos, a private community and ranks.

Evo SI

An AI coach in each client's app that answers from their own plan and numbers, and flags the coach when it matters.

The coach's desk

The coach works from one desk, in a browser on a computer or a phone: every client in a list down the side, and one client's whole week on the page, with their sessions, their top sets, their food and their meal plan.

Clients and onboarding

  • One roster. Every client on one screen, filtered by active, paused and other, with a mark for a check-in that came in, a missed session, a problem reported, an invite not yet accepted or a late payment.
  • Add clients your way. By email, with a link they join through, by hand, or by pasting a list with each client's name and email, such as a spreadsheet or a Trainerize export. Anyone already on your roster is marked before anything is sent.
  • Groups. The people you coach together, each group with its own link to join and its own welcome.
  • A welcome for every new client. App setup, their goals, connecting their devices, the terms, a health and lifestyle questionnaire, and your own agreement to sign if you add one.
  • Pause a client. They keep their account and their history, and the reminders and nudges stop until you resume.
  • View as client. Open the app exactly as one of your clients sees it.

Workout builder and weekly schedule

Each client has a weekly schedule, Monday to Sunday, that repeats every week, so their sessions are always there without you rebuilding the week. Changes can be planned for a set time, or with no end date.

  • Workout builder. Straight sets, circuits with rounds, and cardio by time, distance or heart rate zone, steady or in intervals. Inside a workout: supersets, warm up sets, timed sets, AMRAP, max holds, RPE and alternative exercises.
  • Exercise library with demo videos. Your own exercises and a starter library. Edit a starter exercise and you get your own copy, which no other coach sees.
  • Transformation phases. Five phases, each with written guidance that every client in it reads, so a client on a diet and one building muscle each know what their phase is for. A coach can replace it with their own note for any one client.
  • A starter set of workouts, exercises, meal plans, recipes and on-demand sessions to begin from.
  • Live session. Run a client's workout with them as it happens, with the whole plan in front of you.

Nutrition targets and meal plans

  • Calorie and macro targets the same every day, split into training and rest days, or set for each day of the week.
  • Meal plans built from recipes, with your alternatives for each meal and a swap rule you choose. The client gets the full menu and a shopping list.
  • Allergy safe meal plans. Recipes are checked for 14 allergens, and a meal plan for a client with allergies only uses recipes already checked and free of them.

Weekly check-ins and forms

  • A weekly check-in with ten questions, four of them 1 to 10 sliders, plus weight and front, side and back photos, or your own form, on the day you pick. A client can skip a week and say why. More on check-ins.
  • Every week on the client's page: answered or skipped, and you are told when a check-in comes in or is skipped, with the client's reason.
  • Video replies. Reply in writing, or record your screen over the client's own dashboard with your camera in the corner.
  • A forms builder for questionnaires and documents to sign, with ready templates: the weekly check-in, PAR-Q and an agreement to sign.

Messages and workflows

  • Chat with each client, including your own voice notes, once you switch Messages on. It starts off.
  • Message several clients at once, now or at a set time, with Messages on.
  • Workflows: the Welcome Workflow, which takes each new client through their first screens and can set up their first day on its own.
  • Flags from Evo SI. When a client tells Evo SI about pain, an injury, anything medical, signs of disordered eating, a request to change the plan, billing, or distress, you see it on your dashboard with a note.

Track client payments

Connect your own Stripe account, set a payment package for each client, and track every payment as paid, late or failed, however your clients pay you. Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you. Charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet.

Custom branding and assistant coaches, on Studio

Studio, which opens later, adds your own branding in the client app: your logo in place of Evobody's, and one brand colour that tints buttons and highlights. It also adds three assistant coach seats. An assistant works the full roster: messaging, programming, check-ins and adding new clients, exactly as you would. Billing, removing a client and the team itself stay yours alone.

Moving your clients across

Paste each client's name and email, one per line, from the list you exported or a spreadsheet. Evobody spots duplicates, you confirm, and they are all added in one go. You send each invitation when you are ready. Every new coach is also invited to a 30 minute walkthrough call. How switching works.

Support for your clients, day or night

A client with a question about the app asks Evobody from inside it, not the coach. Anything about training or the plan goes back to the coach. More on client support.

The client app

Each client gets an app that opens on today: the week's workouts, their habits, and the food they have logged against their targets. It runs on any phone, and the iPhone app is in beta.

Workouts

  • The week, set for them. The coach sets the week and the client never has to manage it: they open the app and the week's workouts are one tap away.
  • Logged set by set, with exercise demo videos, a rest timer, and last time's weight beside the next set. Supersets, circuits and timed sets work too.
  • On-demand workouts for any day, grouped by split with a filter for level, and the client's own sessions logged freestyle.
  • Nothing lost without signal. A session logged offline is kept on the phone and sent when the connection is back. Offline logging.

GPS run tracking

Runs, walks and rides are tracked live on a map with pace, distance and time, in the iPhone app, which is in beta. It is not on Android yet. A client can draw a route to follow, and the app warns them when they wander off it. Hiking, rowing, swimming and stairs are logged by time and distance, and daily steps are kept separate from training. More on GPS and cardio.

Food logging and meal plans

  • About 2.6 million foods to search, and a barcode scanner. The food database.
  • Log a meal from a photo. The app names it and splits it into ingredients with calories and macros, and nothing is saved until the client approves it. A photo scan is part of Evo SI.
  • The coach's meal plan beside the day's targets, with the full menu and a shopping list.

Progress, habits and goals

  • Progress photos in eight guided poses, with a count in and spoken cues, compared side by side, private to the client and their coach.
  • The numbers that matter: weight trend, tape measurements, blood sugar, resting heart rate and an estimated one rep max for each lift. Blood pressure can be logged too.
  • Habits: ready to use across nutrition, hydration, movement, sleep and supplements, tracked as ticks, counts or hours, plus any the coach adds.
  • Goals: bodyweight, body fat, daily steps and resting heart rate, plus blood pressure, blood sugar, cardio, events such as a HYROX race or a marathon, and personal goals.

Community, ranks and an accountability partner

  • A private community feed with the coach's other clients, on every plan, where every client post starts from an achievement: a finished workout, a run, a logged activity, a goal or a milestone, with kudos and comments.
  • Five ranks, Start to Whole, earned from turning up and measured against the client's own consistency, not against other people.
  • Pace Setters, a weekly board for the clients who missed no more than one of last week's sessions.
  • An accountability partner: one other client of the same coach, asked by the client or paired by the coach once both accept, each seeing the other's last two weeks of training and habits and their daily food totals, with a button to nudge.
  • The Start badge, the first of the five ranks a client earns from turning upStart
  • The Shift badge, the second of the five ranks a client earns from turning upShift
  • The Align badge, the third of the five ranks a client earns from turning upAlign
  • The Anchor badge, the fourth of the five ranks a client earns from turning upAnchor
  • The Whole badge, the fifth and highest of the five ranks a client earns from turning upWhole

Check-ins, chat and notifications

The weekly check-in comes one question at a time, on the day the coach chose. Chat with the coach, once the coach switches Messages on, includes the coach's voice notes. Notifications arrive in the app, and on the phone in the iPhone app (in beta), with a switch for each kind and a workout reminder at the time the client picks.

Wearables

Oura, WHOOP, Polar and Withings connect directly from the client's app, and Apple Watch through Apple Health. Heart rate, sleep and recovery reach the coach without the client doing anything extra. Polar sends workouts only, and Apple Health sends steps, workouts, weight and body fat when the client opens the iPhone app (in beta), with no sleep or recovery. Which wearables Evobody supports.

Evo SI, the AI coach in every client's app

Evo SI answers a client's questions between sessions from their own plan and numbers, at any hour. It reads photos of meals, fridges and restaurant menus, logs food once the client approves, and finds recipes that fit. It never changes the plan, and it flags the coach when it matters. It cannot reach another coach's clients or another client's data.

It works for you too: an assistant coach trained on your philosophy and methods, set up in the app.

Every client gets ten free questions; after that it is $3 a month for each client you switch it on for. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. More on Evo SI.

Questions coaches ask

What does Evobody do?

Evobody is coaching software for personal trainers and online fitness coaches. On the coach's side it handles the client roster, a workout builder with a weekly schedule that repeats, nutrition targets and meal plans, check-ins with a built-in screen recorder, client payment tracking, and assistant coach seats on Studio, which opens later. On the client's side it is an app with the day's session, food logging against about 2.6 million foods, habits, progress photos, GPS run tracking, a private community with five ranks, and Evo SI.

Does Evobody have a client community?

Yes, in a private community feed. Each coach's clients have one of their own, on every plan, and no other coach can see a coach's client list or reach their clients. Every client post starts from an achievement, because there is no compose button anywhere in the client app.

What is the difference between the Coach and Studio plans?

Both give unlimited clients and the same coaching features. Studio at $99 a month, which opens later, adds your own branding in the client app, three assistant coach seats, and Evo SI free with your own AI API key. Coach is $69 a month. Neither has add-ons: other coaching apps charge extra for them, and we never will.

Which wearables does Evobody connect to?

Oura, WHOOP, Polar and Withings directly, and Apple Watch through Apple Health. Separately, a run or ride is tracked live on a map in the iPhone app, in beta, with no wearable needed.

Does Evobody provide support to a coach's clients?

Yes. A client with a question about the app asks from inside the app and Evobody answers, day or night, rather than the question landing in the coach's inbox. It covers the software only: anything about training, food or the plan goes back to the coach.

Can I move my clients over from Trainerize, TrueCoach or Everfit?

Yes. Paste each client's name and email, one per line, from the list you exported or a spreadsheet. Evobody marks anyone already on your roster, you confirm, and they are all added in one go. You send each client their invitation when you are ready. Every new coach is invited to a 30 minute walkthrough call.

Does Evobody work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The coach's desk works in a browser on a computer or a phone, and the client app runs on any phone. The iPhone app is in beta, and GPS run tracking needs it.

Can someone use Evobody without a coach?

No. Evobody is coaching software: every client is invited by their coach. A coach can use the client app themselves, on the same login.

Evobody replaces the software a coach already pays for, such as Trainerize, TrueCoach or Everfit. See pricing, how switching works, or where your data is kept.
