| Plan | Price | Clients | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5 active | Every coaching feature. No time limit, no card. |
| Coach | $69 | Unlimited | No client limit. |
| Studio | $99 | Unlimited | Your branding on the client app, three assistant coach seats, and Evo SI free with your own AI API key. Opens later. |
| Evo SI | $3 | Per client using it | Optional. The AI assistant in your client's own app. First ten questions free for every client. |
Studio, which opens later, is $99 a month: everything in Coach, plus your own logo and brand colour in the client app, three assistant coach seats, and Evo SI free with your own AI API key.
The one thing that is not in those numbers
Evo SI, the AI coach that lives in your client's app, is $3 per client per month, on top of either paid plan. It is optional: you are charged only for the clients who have it switched on, not for your whole roster, and for a client it is off for, it is hidden from their app. Every client's first ten questions are free, so they can find out whether they want it before it costs anybody anything. On Studio, which opens later, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key.
No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: programming, repeating programs, a food database of about 2.6 million foods, check-ins, the check-in screen recorder, habits, the community, ranks, GPS run tracking and client payment tracking are all in the plan, and everything we build next comes in too. You never pay for our progress.
What every plan includes
The free plan and the paid plans run the same product. What the paid plans add is room: unlimited clients on Coach, and on Studio, when it opens, your branding and assistant seats.
- Training: a workout builder for strength, cardio, intervals, circuits and timed sets, with weekly schedules that repeat, and an exercise library with demo videos.
- Nutrition: calorie and macro targets, meal plans, and food logging from about 2.6 million foods by search, barcode or photo.
- Check-ins and messages: weekly check-in forms you can answer with a recorded video, and chat with voice notes.
- Habits and progress: habits, goals, progress photos, weight and lifts.
- The client app: a private community for your clients, ranks, accountability partners, GPS run tracking in the iPhone app (in beta), and logging that works without signal.
- Wearables: Oura, WHOOP, Polar, Withings and Apple Health.
- Client payments: connect your own Stripe account, set each client's package and mark every payment paid, late or failed.
The price does not move as you grow
$69 covers five clients or five hundred. That is worth saying plainly, because it is the main structural difference between Evobody and the rest of this category, where the bill climbs every time the business does.
- ABC Trainerize steps from $79 to $135 at your thirty first client, which is $56 a month for one person.
- CoachRx steps from $79 to $199 at your fifty first, which is $120 a month for one person.
- My PT Hub steps from $25 to $59 at your fourth.
- TrueCoach jumps from its twenty client tier to its fifty client tier with nothing in between, so a coach with twenty one clients pays the fifty client price.
- Everfit and PT Distinction both price per client, so there is no step, just a line that keeps rising.
What fifty clients costs, here and everywhere else
The honest way to compare is to count everything: the plan, the add-ons that are not optional in practice, and any percentage taken out of what your clients pay you.
| Platform | Cut of client payments | Real monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Evobody | None | $69, plus $3 a month for each client with Evo SI switched on, if you want it |
| My PT Hub | None | $59, plus its Check-Ins AI at $12 a month |
| PT Distinction | None | $89.90 |
| Everfit | None | From $199 |
| ABC Trainerize | None | $205, plus FitMetrics from $6 a client a month |
| CoachRx | 2% | $279 |
| TrueCoach | 5% flat, card processing included | $165, plus its 5% card fee |
The last two also charge on client payments. TrueCoach's own help centre gives its card processing fee as "a flat 5% fee per transaction", and CoachRx's documents 2% of its own on top of card processing. Neither figure is on those companies' pricing pages. The full working is on the comparison page.
How billing works
The coach is billed monthly, and nothing is billed to a client, ever. There is no annual contract and no minimum term. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period and drops the account to the free plan rather than closing it, with nothing deleted: clients past the fifth are switched off rather than removed, and subscribing again brings them back.
A failed card gets a 21 day grace period from the first failure, with a note in billing settings showing the date, and clients keep logging the whole time.
Questions about cost
How much does Evobody cost?
Free for your first five active clients, with no card and no time limit. Then $69 a month on the Coach plan for unlimited clients. Evo SI is optional, $3 a month for each client you switch it on for, after every client's first ten free questions.
Does the price go up as I add clients?
No. The Coach plan is $69 a month for five clients or five hundred, with no tier steps. The only price per client is Evo SI, for the clients you switch it on for.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Evobody is month to month and cancelling drops you back to the free plan rather than locking you out. My PT Hub's annual plan paid monthly is a twelve month commitment needing thirty days written notice before the end of the term. See what happens if I cancel.
Do my clients ever get charged?
Never by us. Your clients pay you, however you already collect, and nothing in the client app is for sale, Evo SI included, which is billed to the coach. Do my clients pay for Evobody?
What does Studio cost?
$99 a month, when Studio opens later: everything in Coach, plus your own branding in the client app, three assistant coach seats, and Evo SI free with your own AI API key.
What happens if my card fails?
A 21 day grace period from the first failure, with a note in your billing settings, and your clients keep logging the whole time. A failed card is treated as an expired card, not as a decision to leave.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It has no end date: five active clients, every coaching feature and no card, for as long as you like, and you pay only when you switch on a sixth client. More on the free plan.
