What happens next
Each client gets an invitation to set up their own account. Nothing about a coach's programs, exercise library or client history needs rebuilding first, a coach can move clients over and build out the rest of their setup afterward. It works the same way from a plain spreadsheet too, not just an export from another platform.
Three ways to bring a client in
- Paste a list. One person per line, name and email in any order. Evobody marks anyone already on your roster, repeated or missing an email, and you confirm before anything is saved.
- Invite by email from the client's page when you are ready.
- Share a join link, for everyone or one group, that lets people straight in, waits for you to let each one in, or only accepts the emails you added.
What your client does
The invitation tells them their training app is ready: open app.evobody.app on their phone, type their email, enter the six digit code that arrives, and add the app to their home screen. The first time they open it, it takes about ten minutes: their details, their goals, a device if they have one, the terms and a health and lifestyle questionnaire. After that, the week's workouts are one tap away each time they open it.
You do not do the hard part alone
The reason most coaches put this off is not the client list. It is the thought of rebuilding a year of programming across a fortnight of evenings. So that part is supported rather than handed to you: Evobody's team helps you bring over your programs, plans and documents. The full detail is in the switching guide.
Before you cancel the old one
- Check whether you are on a term. Most of this category is month to month, but My PT Hub's annual plan paid monthly is a twelve month commitment needing thirty days written notice before the end of the term. The useful thing to know is the renewal date, not just what you want instead.
- Export your client list while the account is still live. Whatever platform you are on, do this first.
- Take your program templates with you in whatever form the old platform exports them, even if it is only a PDF. It is easier to reproduce something you can read than something you are remembering.
- Move the clients first, then the rest. Your roster can be live in Evobody while you are still tidying your exercise library.
Coming from a specific platform
Each of these ranks the whole field from the point of view of somebody leaving that platform, because the right choice depends on what went wrong with the last one.

Questions about switching
How do I switch to Evobody?
Export your client list from Trainerize, TrueCoach, Everfit, My PT Hub, CoachRx, PT Distinction or a plain spreadsheet, and paste in each client's name and email, one per line. Evobody spots duplicates, you confirm, and they are all added at once, ready for you to invite when you choose. Coaches moving a full roster also get dedicated support for the move: Evobody's team helps bring over their programs, plans and documents rather than rebuild them.
Do I have to rebuild all my programs when I switch?
No. The client list comes across in one go, and Evobody's team helps bring over programs, plans and documents rather than rebuild them from nothing. Nothing has to be finished before clients can start either: a coach can move people over first and build out the rest of the setup afterwards.
How long does switching coaching software take?
Getting clients onto your roster is same-day: paste the list and confirm, and they are all added at once, ready to invite. The longer part is usually programs and templates, which is the part Evobody supports rather than leaving to the coach. It works the same way from a plain spreadsheet as from another platform's export.
Should I check anything before I cancel my old platform?
Check whether you are on a minimum term. My PT Hub's annual plan paid monthly is a twelve month commitment requiring thirty days written notice before the end of the term. Evobody, Everfit, ABC Trainerize, TrueCoach, CoachRx and PT Distinction all sell month to month. Export your client list before the account lapses, whichever platform you are leaving.
Can I try it before I move everybody?
Yes. Five active clients are free with no time limit and no card, which is enough to run the software properly with real clients rather than demo it. More on the free plan.
What will it cost once I move the whole roster?
$69 a month for unlimited clients on the Coach plan, or $99 on Studio, which opens later, with your own branding. Evo SI is optional, $3 a month for each client it is on for. Full pricing breakdown.
Do my clients have to pay anything?
No. Your clients are never billed by Evobody: they pay you, however you already collect, and nothing in the client app is for sale. Do my clients pay for Evobody?
