SI stands for Super Intelligence, previously known as Artificial Intelligence.
What it can do
- Photograph the menu at the restaurant they are sitting in and ask what they can eat.
- Photograph the fridge and find out what is in there they can have.
- Ask how training went this month and hear which lifts went up.
- Log a meal by describing it, then correct it by saying "that was a bun, not a roll."
- Say their weight, blood pressure or blood sugar, and it is saved once they confirm it with a tap.
It reads their plan, their targets, their phase and their numbers, so the answer is about them rather than about training in general. It is told that client's own allergy and diet rules with every question. It proposes, the client confirms. It works for the coach too, trained on the coach's philosophy and methods, set up in the app.
How a client uses it
Evo SI has its own tab in the client app. A client types a question or taps the camera to send a photo, and the chat carries on from there, with a button to start again. It asks before a client's information is first sent to the AI, and a client can turn it off in their settings. It answers in English, or in German for a client who writes in German.
Two limits, on purpose
- It never changes the plan. Programming stays the coach's job by design, not by accident. Evo SI reads the program and explains it. It does not rewrite it. Asked to swap an exercise, it says so and tells the client to message their coach.
- It flags the coach when it matters. Pain, an injury, anything medical, signs of disordered eating, a request to change the plan, billing, or distress is passed to the coach's dashboard with a note, and a client can report a reply that is wrong or should not have been said.
Evo SI is also isolated to one coach's own clients: which account it is allowed to read is fixed by the server before the model runs, and every reply is checked against the names of the coach's other clients and held back if it names one.
What it costs, and who decides
Every client has ten free questions, and a photo scan counts as one. After that it is $3 a month for each client the coach switches it on for, on the Coach plan; on Studio, which opens later, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. The client never pays, and whether Evo SI carries on for them is always their coach's decision.
Why it is pointed at the client rather than at you
Every platform in this category has AI now. In all of them but this one, it builds things for the coach: a workout builder, a meal planner, a program generator.
- Everfit's AI builds workouts, and their own help centre has you typing EMOM, AMRAP and numbered supersets in the right places to get what you asked for.
- Trainerize's AI Workout Builder drafts one workout at a time and cannot assign it. The AI most coaches actually want from them is FitMetrics, an add-on inside Trainerize from $6 a client a month.
- My PT Hub's Workouts AI takes plain language and lives on the web only, not in their mobile apps.
- CoachRx's RxBot writes programs for the coach.
- PT Distinction's three AI tools all launched in 2024 and all build things for the coach.
- TrueCoach has no AI in the product at all.
The questions that actually decide whether a client sticks are not asked at your desk. They are asked at eight in the evening, in a restaurant, by somebody deciding whether tonight is worth giving up on. That is the moment Evo SI is built for.
Questions about Evo SI
What can Evo SI do, and what can't it do?
Evo SI answers a client's questions between sessions from their own plan and numbers, reads photos of meals and menus, and logs food once they approve it. It cannot change the plan, which stays the coach's job, and it flags the coach when something needs a person.
What can Evo SI not do?
It cannot change the program. Programming stays the coach's job by design, so Evo SI reads the plan and explains it rather than rewriting it. It also cannot reach another coach's clients or another client's data: which account it may read is fixed by the server before the model runs, and every reply is checked against the names of the coach's other clients and held back if it names one.
Can a coach see what Evo SI says to a client?
Not the conversations themselves: nothing on the coach's side shows them. What reaches the coach is a flag, shown on the coach's dashboard with a note, when a client raises pain, an injury, anything medical, signs of disordered eating, a request to change the plan, billing, or distress, and any reply a client reports.
How much does Evo SI cost?
$3 a month for each client who has it switched on, not for every client on the roster, on the Coach plan. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. Every client's first ten questions are free, and a photo scan counts as one. On Studio, which opens later, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key.
Does Evo SI give medical advice?
No. It never diagnoses and never gives medical advice. Anything medical, or any pain or injury, is passed to the client's coach as a flag on the dashboard with a note, and Evo SI tells the client it has passed it on.
What languages does Evo SI speak?
English, and German for a client who writes in German. It answers in the language the client writes in, from the same plan, targets and numbers either way.
How is Evo SI different from other coaching platforms' AI?
Evo SI is in the client's own app. Everfit, ABC Trainerize, My PT Hub, CoachRx and PT Distinction all have AI that builds things for the coach, usually a workout builder or a meal planner, and TrueCoach has no AI in its product at all.
