Every TrueCoach plan, and what it costs
TrueCoach prices each plan by how many active clients it holds, and shows two prices for each: month to month, and the monthly cost when billed for a year, which it puts as months free: "Equivalent month(s) free when comparing the total cost of annual billing with the total cost of monthly billing."
TrueCoach's plans, from its pricing page, 8 October 2026.
| Plan | Active clients | Monthly | Billed yearly, a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 5 | $29.98 | $26.34 |
| Standard | Up to 20 | $69.98 | $57.99 |
| Pro | Up to 50 | $164.98 | $136.99 |
The plans step at 5, 20 and 50 clients, so a sixth client moves a coach from $29.98 to $69.98, and a twenty first from $69.98 to $164.98, which is $95 a month more for one person. Above 50 the price is not published. In TrueCoach's words: "More than 50 clients? We've got special pricing for you."
There is no free plan, and there is a trial: "Try out everything TrueCoach has to offer with a 14-Day Free Trial! No credit card required."
What each plan includes
TrueCoach sells no add-ons. Every plan has the program and workout builder, client management, nutrition and habit tracking through MyFitnessPal, a client dashboard, a library of over 3,000 exercise videos, in-app messaging and payments. Standard and Pro add, in the page's list:
- public coach profiles;
- data from wearables;
- a "Custom-Branded Fitness App";
- advanced habit and nutrition tracking;
- business automations powered by Zapier.
TrueCoach lists the wearables that connect in its own Wearables FAQ, read 8 October 2026.
Nutrition at TrueCoach runs through MyFitnessPal: its page says the integration "lets coaches set custom calorie, macro, and nutrition plans in one place", and clients log their food there. Its plan lists name no AI feature.
The 5% on client payments, in TrueCoach's words
TrueCoach Payments is listed on every plan as free, and its help article on processing fees explains the cost: "TrueCoach Payments is a free feature that we are excited to offer. Even though we don't charge you for payments, there is a fee for processing transactions." Then: "When you create a new Subscription for your client, each invoice will incur Stripe's processing fee per successful credit card transaction. This is a flat 5% fee per transaction."
Three things follow from its own wording. The 5% covers card processing, which a coach pays somewhere on any platform that takes cards. It is charged on "the invoice total which includes any taxes". And it applies to refunds as well: "Processing fees will also apply to payments that you choose to refund." TrueCoach Payments is "Only available for US, UK, Australia, and Canada-based coaches."
What you really pay at 5, 20 and 50 clients
With no add-ons, TrueCoach's cost at each size is the plan that holds the clients, plus the 5% on any payments a coach takes through it.
A month, from TrueCoach's pricing page, 8 October 2026, beside Evobody.
| Clients | TrueCoach plan | Monthly | Billed yearly, a month | Evobody |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Starter | $29.98 | $26.34 | $0, on Free |
| 20 | Standard | $69.98 | $57.99 | $69, on Coach |
| 50 | Pro | $164.98 | $136.99 | $69, on Coach |
At 20 clients the two cost about the same month to month, and TrueCoach is cheaper billed yearly. At 5 clients Evobody is free, and at 50 it is $69 against TrueCoach's $164.98. Above 20, the gap grows with every client, since Evobody's $69 holds any number of them.
What each client costs at each size
Dividing each plan by the clients it holds shows where TrueCoach is cheapest per person, which is when a plan is full. A full Starter plan is about $6.00 a client a month, a full Standard plan about $3.50, and a full Pro plan about $3.30. A plan that is not full costs more per client: 6 clients on Standard are about $11.66 each, and 21 clients on Pro about $7.86 each, because the step to the next plan is paid in full.
Evobody's Coach plan is one price for any number of clients, with the first five free on the Free plan. Evo SI, where it is switched on, adds $3 a month for each of those clients. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing.
Yearly billing changes the same sums at TrueCoach. Over a year, Starter billed yearly saves $43.68 against month to month, Standard $143.88 and Pro $335.88, which is where its one and two months free come from.
Moving from TrueCoach to Evobody
A coach who decides to move can bring the client list across in one go: export the names and emails, paste them in, and Evobody adds everyone at once, ready to invite when the coach chooses. Programs, plans and documents are not imported by themselves; Evobody's team helps bring them over, and whatever can be automated will be. Because Evobody is free for the first five clients, a coach can run a few clients on both before moving the rest. More on the move is on switching.
The terms behind the price

The same coach on Evobody
Evobody is free for your first five active clients, with no card and no time limit, then $69 a month on the Coach plan for unlimited clients. So a coach with 5 clients pays nothing, and a coach with 20 or 50 pays $69.
Your first five active clients, with no card and no time limit.
Unlimited clients. A coach with 20 or 50 pays $69.
$3 a month for each client you switch it on for, after ten free questions. Switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing.
No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: every coaching feature is on every plan, everything we build next comes in too, and you never pay for our progress.
- Its own food database in every plan: about 2.6 million foods, barcode scanning, meal plans and the targets the coach sets, logged in the same app rather than in MyFitnessPal.
- Check-ins with a built-in screen recorder for the coach's video reply, plus habits, the coach's own private community and ranks.
- Evo SI, in each client's app. SI stands for Super Intelligence, previously known as Artificial Intelligence. Every client gets ten free questions, and after that it is $3 a month for each client you switch it on for. It is optional: switched off for a client, it is hidden from their app and costs nothing. It works for the coach too, trained on the coach's philosophy and methods, set up in the app. On Studio, which opens later, at $99 a month, Evo SI is free with your own AI API key.
- Payments: Evobody tracks client payments with your own Stripe account. Charging a client's card through Evobody is not built yet, so no Evobody fee sits on a payment, and Evobody takes no cut of what your clients pay you.
- Wearables: a client connects their own trackers from any phone or browser, and Apple Health in the Evobody iPhone app, which is in beta. Garmin is not connected yet. The full list is on what wearables does Evobody support.
- Branding comes with Studio, which opens later. Today TrueCoach's Standard and Pro plans include what it calls a "Custom-Branded Fitness App", and Evobody's plans do not.
