Client support

Your clients ask us, not you.

A client with a question about the app asks from inside it, any hour, and Evobody answers. You are not the help desk for software you did not build.

What our support covers, and what it does not

We handle the software. How something works, why a video would not upload, a login that will not take, a watch that will not connect, a photo that did not save, what a screen is for. Day or night, from inside the app, without the client having to find an email address or work out who to ask.

We never answer a coaching question. Anything about training, food, the plan or how their week is going goes back to their coach, every time. That is not a limitation, it is the point. Your client is paying you for that judgement, and a software company answering it would be taking something that is yours.

This is the reason Evobody exists

"My clients could never work out how to move a session. If somebody missed a workout, I got a message asking me how to fix it. If somebody wanted to do tomorrow's session today, another message. Every week, from people who had been using it for months. They were not being lazy about it. The app made a simple thing hard, and every time it did, the answer was me."

Petar Krastev, who coached on Everfit before building Evobody

Most coaching platforms sell themselves to you and then quietly make you responsible for the people who actually use it. Your client does not have a relationship with the software company. They have one with you. So when the app confuses them, you are who they message, and you are the one person in that conversation who cannot fix anything.

ABC Trainerize is the clearest example. They run a help section called "Clients of Trainers" whose only two articles send the client back to you, and their own words are: "If you are a client of a trainer or fitness business using ABC Trainerize, please contact your trainer or business directly."

Credit where it is due, though: two of them do help your clients. TrueCoach ends its client-facing help articles by inviting the client to email their support team, and CoachRx runs a dedicated client support collection and splits the work the same way we do, with the coach owning the judgement and their support owning the technical fault. What none of them do is say when.

Two things fix it, and you need both

  1. Build it so they rarely have to ask. The coach sets each client's recommended schedule and the client never touches it. They open the app and the week's workouts are one tap away. There is no calendar to learn, which is the single thing coaches get messaged about most.
  2. Answer the ones that still come, without you. Design gets you most of the way. It does not get you all the way, because phones break, uploads fail and people forget passwords. So when a question does come, it comes to us.

Nobody else in this category says when

This is the part worth knowing before you compare. Checked across every published help centre and pricing page on 23 September 2026:

CoachRx is the only other platform that publishes hours at all, and they are business hours with a 24 to 48 hour target. PT Distinction promises "Same day support" on all three tiers. The other four publish neither. Several also gate support by plan: Trainerize's pricing page ladders it across nine rows, with live chat only on small business plans and phone support only on enterprise ones, and Everfit puts a "24/7 Support Team" on Enterprise alone.

Your client does not have an enterprise plan. They have a phone, at nine in the evening, with a question.

What it is worth, in hours

App questions do not scale, and they scale worst exactly when you can least afford it. Five clients is a message a week. Fifty clients is a part-time job that nobody is paying for, arriving in the evenings, from people who are not being difficult and just want to log their session.

It also costs you something less obvious than time. Every message where you cannot help is a small dent in the thing you are actually selling, because the client asked you for something and you could not do it. Handing those to us keeps every conversation you have with a client one where you are the expert.

What it costs

Nothing. It is in both paid plans, and coaches on the free plan get it for their five active clients too. It is not a support tier, it is not an add-on, and it does not depend on how many clients you have.

No add-ons, now or ever. Other coaching apps charge extra for add-ons. We never will: every coaching feature is on every plan, everything we build next comes in too, and you never pay for our progress.

Questions about client support

Does Evobody support my clients directly?

Yes. A client with a question about the app asks from inside the app and Evobody answers, day or night. The coach is not the first point of contact and does not have to be copied in. It covers the technical side, how something works, why an upload failed, a login problem, a device that will not connect.

Will Evobody's support give my clients coaching advice?

No, and that line is deliberate. Anything about training, food or the plan goes back to the coach, because that is the coach's job and the relationship they are being paid for. Evobody's support handles the software. It never answers a question that belongs to the coach.

How much does client support cost on Evobody?

Nothing. It is part of both paid plans and is not an add-on or a higher support tier. Coaches on the free plan get it for their five active clients too.

Why does a coach need support for their clients?

Because on most coaching platforms the coach is the help desk by default. Every client question about the software arrives in the coach's inbox, and those questions do not scale: at fifty clients, explaining an app is a part-time job that nobody is paying for. It is also the wrong person answering, since the coach did not build the software and cannot fix it.
